I`m none too happy as for instance my girlfriend wants Geordie Shore on a series link. I have set the Tivo to record the new episode on Tuesdays at 10pm and in the options set it at "New Only" in the show type.
When going into planned recording I see the Tivo has set it to record the reruns on Friday and Saturday and Sunday night? Whats going on? The same has happened for TNA Impact and other programmes like Made in Chelsea.
I have read that the Tivo will not record a rerun once it realises but as Geordie Shore is high on my priority list could other programmes not be recorded due to the reruns?
The most annoying are Parking Wars and Hardcore Pawn on the Bio channel ( shown daily )which I have set to record New only at 1900 and 1930 respectively and yet in planned recordings they are being recordred at numerous points throughout the day.
I am now going through the planned recordings and manually deleting the reruns but this is a right pain - epsecially for the Bio channel stuff.
Is this just a bug, will the Tivo not record all these other planned reruns or do I have to continue deleting the planned reruns?
Could someone take the time to expain what is going on?
